The Spanish school has a team that is exclusively composed of Argentine Professionals, specialized in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language.

One of our Aggregated Values, is to have Argentine Spanish teachers who are University degree holders in Spanish Language, i.e. graduates from different universities of Argentina, with a vast experience in Teaching methodology of their native Language to foreign students from all over the world.

Teachers of IBL Spanish School express their opinion:

Teaching Spanish as a Second Language in Argentina for native Spanish teacher, who work with and know the language as a mother tongue, is a job that demands observation and analysis from another perspective, the perspective of the foreign student.

From that place, teaching Spanish requires not only to think about the grammar, but also about the communicative situations in which the student, who is willing to acquire the necessary knowledge to use with efficiency the Spanish language as an object of study, will be involved. It is a fascinating challenge for those who love the Spanish language and find in it a profound wealth of the senses.

The students chose a Spanish school in Argentina because of the great demand of tourism in Argentina, and also because of the needs of independent travellers to be able to communicate in Latin America and being Buenos Aires a cosmopolitan and cultural centre, it is natural that the traveller chooses Argentina and this city to be trained in the Spanish Language. It is also the reason for this choice the warmth and hospitality the Argentinean people have towards foreigners who visit Argentina.

The advantages of learning Spanish in an immersion context give a definite success in the acquisition of the language, allowing the student to keep in touch  with real contexts of emission and to put into practice the use of the language in daily situations. Advantages that are even bigger when the learning is guided by a native teacher who teaches Spanish varieties in communicative situations. The acquisition of this context allows the native teacher to notice their students' achievements in the language, because they are constantly integrating the knowledge they have learned (during the class and when the class is over) with new communicative situations. For example, and my personal experience has shown me that when teaching the characteristics and the contrast of two types of past tenses, after doing the exercises,  the student is able to recognise them in other situations and use them properly when talking about their past experiences.

The improvements in students’ Spanish learning are noticed day after day, the improvements are always part of a process, and they appear not only in the absorption of the basic Spanish gramatical data, but also in the most natural way of dealing with language sounds and new Spanish words. It is also an important rate the ability of self-correction the students acquires.
